Emily Bick

Emily is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Entomology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her interests are in leveraging sensors enabled with machine learning to better understand insect population dynamics in agroecosystems. Recently, the Bick lab started leveraging sound data from the ‘Insect Eavesdropper’ sensor to quantify herbivore leaf feeing, stem boring, and root feeding behavior.
