Klara Grethen

To investigate biological systems and animal behaviour, I focus on the development and application of methodological and technological advancements and data assessments. I am driven by my passion for animal welfare and wildlife conservation.

In my current position, I focus on the application of machine learning and deep learning approaches to the analysis of acoustic data, specifically echolocation calls of bats recorded using passive acoustic monitoring, and images from wildlife camera traps.

I further have a background in scientific outreach, specifically for youth and children and enjoy making science and coding accessible to everyone.
